When questioned about accusations from a blue party member calling him a traitor, Lai Ching-te simply stated that society will have its own judgment. He also expressed gratitude for support from G7 leaders, emphasized the importance of Taiwan’s defense and economic resilience, and denounced China’s coercive actions in the region.
