29-year-old Lexi Thompson has announced her retirement from full-time golf after the 2024 LPGA season. Thompson, who will be competing in her 18th consecutive U.S. Women's Open this week, expressed that she is ready to explore new experiences beyond a full-time golf schedule and is looking forward to spending more time with family, friends, and her dog. Thompson, who has 15 worldwide wins since turning pro in 2010, plans to evaluate her tournament participation on a part-time basis in the future.
