In a heartwarming incident in Keelung, Taiwan, on June 25, 2024, police officers from the Keelung Fourth Police Station's Anle Station assisted an elderly man who appeared lost near a bus stop in Anle District. Officer Lai Yiyang approached the man, surnamed Zhang, who had forgotten the way back home after taking the bus and had no phone with him. Luckily, he had his ID, which the police used to locate his residence at Boai Home. With the help of the neighborhood chief Pan Defa, the man safely returned home and expressed gratitude for the assistance. The police reminded families with elderly members prone to getting lost or suffering from memory loss to keep identification and contact information on them or apply for anti-lost bracelets for prompt assistance.
