A man in Taipei City's Zhongshan District was arrested after a violent confrontation at a convenience store on June 29 at 9:13 PM. Upset with the service attitude of a 24-year-old male employee, the 52-year-old suspect called two friends to join him in assaulting the employee, using a beer bottle to attack him. The victim suffered minor brain concussion but was not in life-threatening condition. The assailants were arrested on-site and are facing charges of assault and other crimes. The incident is under investigation by the Taipei District Prosecutors Office.
