A man in Luzhou, New Taipei City, was slashed by a creditor, resulting in a large piece of his face skin being cut off, ending up in a pool of blood. A kind-hearted passerby picked up the bloody face skin, rode a motorcycle to a hospital, and returned it to the victim in hopes of getting it stitched back on. The incident stemmed from a debt dispute between two men, with the suspect who was wielding a machete during the attack being arrested by the police later on. The victim sustained multiple injuries but was reported to be out of danger after receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital.
