On June 16, 2024, a car was heavily destroyed by an excavator in Taoyuan. The car owner didn't mind at all as the exaggerated scene unfolded in broad daylight, with witnesses shocked by the destruction. The incident was caused by a marital dispute where the husband, upset, went to his wife's family and caused damage, and got caught for drunk driving. Despite attempts to stop the excavator driver, the car's windscreen shattered and the roof was torn off, leading to a dramatic scene. The car owner didn't seem to care as the excavator driver, who turned out to be the husband, continued the destructive act.
