On June 8, 2024, at 5:52 AM, a large fire erupted at a factory in Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City. The building, identified as a tin factory, was fully engulfed on the first floor, with thick smoke billowing out. The fire impacted an area of approximately 200 square meters, fortunately with no casualties reported. The Hsinchu City Fire Department dispatched multiple firefighting teams to the scene, including support from nearby areas, as they work to contain and extinguish the blaze.
