McDonald's has temporarily removed Quarter Pounders from certain US menus to address an E. coli outbreak potentially linked to slivered onions and beef patties. Analyst Gregory Francfort from Guggenheim emphasized that McDonald's has maintained a strong safety record despite the temporary setback. While the firm downgraded McDonald's stock rating from Neutral to Buy and adjusted its price target to $285, they noted a 24% stock increase since June due to better US business performance.
