A group of McDonald’s franchisees known as the National Owners Association (NOA) has shown support for the company’s upcoming $5 value meal promotion while advocating for more assistance from the corporation to ensure the long-term viability of the discounted offering. They emphasized the need for affordability for both consumers and owner/operators, citing McDonald's resources and financial investment as crucial for sustaining an affordable strategy. The $5 value meal is set to include a McChicken or McDouble, four-piece chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink starting from June 25 for about a month, aiming to provide greater value to customers amid inflation concerns.
