A chilling video of a recent accident on the West Coast Expressway (Highway 61) in Taoyuan has gone viral. On June 10, a 44-year-old man surnamed Li driving a van accidentally ran over gravel on the road, causing it to hit a 61-year-old man surnamed Yang riding a motorcycle behind. Yang fell off his motorcycle and slid on the ground while the bike flew several meters away, without life-threatening injuries. The source of the gravel is still under investigation.
