Cuba has been bustling lately with four Russian warships arriving in Havana port, prompting the U.S. and Canada to dispatch their own ships to Cuban waters. The simultaneous presence of warships from the three countries has raised concerns of potential conflict. However, CNN journalist Patrick Oppmann boarded the Russian escort ship 'Marshal Ustinov' for a firsthand look, while nearby was the nuclear-powered submarine 'Kazan'. Despite Russian and Cuban officials stating that the fleet poses no threat to the U.S., the warships carry the Zircon hypersonic missile, increasing tension due to Cuba's close proximity to the U.S. at just over 100 kilometers away. The situation remains tense as the Black Sea Fleet faces setbacks, with Ukraine President Zelensky comparing Putin to Hitler and refusing ceasefire conditions. The peace summit in Switzerland on the 15th and 16th may pave the way for peace in Kyiv.
