Cubs infielder Nick Madrigal, after a slow start this season, made his season debut with Iowa Cubs, starting strong with a double and a walk. Unfortunately, his game ended prematurely in the 4th inning when he was struck by a 97-mile-per-hour fastball. It's unsure if he will miss any time, potentially impacting the Cubs' minor league infield depth. Chicago Cubs aim to sweep the crosstown rival White Sox at Wrigley Field.
