In an effort to enhance pedestrian safety near the school gate, the New Taipei City Department of Economic Development has planned to create a green pedestrian walkway in front of the dough zone school. However, 80 parents raised concerns and petitioned for a halt in construction, worrying about the impact on school vehicle access and space limitations. Despite efforts to improve pedestrian walkways, issues like illegal parking, unclear road markings, and concerns about the safety of students have persisted, prompting discussions and petitions among local parents and authorities.
