Recently, the French Office in Taiwan Director Franck Paris Long-Ye and French Chamber of Commerce President Eva Leihener-Stefan led over 20 French companies to visit the Kaohsiung City Government for the 'French Enterprise Roundtable Forum', where representatives from various industries including environmental protection, renewable energy, biomedicine, aerospace, logistics, and semiconductors engaged in discussions. The aim of the forum was to deepen cooperation between Kaohsiung and French enterprises, promote closer economic industry links, social-cultural exchanges, and trade and investment cooperation. Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-Mai emphasized the city's strong industrial foundation and commitment to industry transformation towards 'digital, net-zero', with a focus on sustainability and environmental initiatives.
