During routine patrol duty, police officers from the Taoyuan Guard Police Thunderbolt Squadron observed a passenger in a neighboring vehicle not wearing a seat belt at a red light in the Guishan District. When the passenger noticed, they immediately closed the car window, raising suspicion. The police followed the vehicle and intercepted it at the Bade Road interchange in Linkou District, New Taipei City, discovering 4 Vietnamese migrant workers, including one surnamed Ruan, who were missing. The case was handed over to the Taoyuan City Special Duty Team for investigation. The incident highlighted the importance of wearing a seat belt and led to the successful apprehension of the missing workers, contributing to maintaining public safety and order in the community.
