A power outage occurred in the Ximending shopping district, Taipei City, due to a high-voltage equipment issue, affecting cinemas like Ximending Luxury Cinema and Lianhua Cinema. Taipower responded and managed to restore power shortly after the incident. However, the cinemas needed equipment inspection before resuming operations. The cause of the equipment failure at the secondary substation is still being investigated by personnel.
