Python Captured After Slithering on NYC Sidewalk

Reported 6 months ago

A python was found slithering on a sidewalk near Rockefeller Center subway station in Manhattan, two days after a boa constrictor was captured on the Upper West Side. This was the third snake incident in Manhattan in a short period, prompting police involvement. The snakes were all removed from the location and handed over to proper care centers. It is illegal to own boa constrictors and pythons in New York City.
