In Hsinchu City, a dispute between two groups of customers at a KTV led to police intervention early on the 12th. While the police were being taunted and had ice thrown at them, one man was subdued by the police but videotaped the police throwing punches, shouting 'police hitting people'. The police stated that they will enhance law enforcement education after this incident, where several other suspects involved in the disturbance were arrested and charged.
