Three social media influencers, 'Leila' and her husband, as well as Joeman, were given deferred prosecution and non-prosecution for possession and use of marijuana. The New Taipei District Prosecutors Office investigated the case and after reconsideration by the High Prosecutors Office, Leila and her husband's deferred prosecution was confirmed. The trio had been found with marijuana-related items at their residences after police searches, but subsequent tests were negative for marijuana metabolites, leading to the decision of deferred prosecution. Leila and Joeman had publicly apologized for the incident, with Joeman admitting to marijuana use in 2022 and 2023.
