Reported about 1 year ago
In Nantou County, Taiwan, a man surnamed Huang got drunk and made repeated threatening calls to his mother before arguing with her at home. He then drove under the influence to a gas station, bought gasoline, poured it on the living room floor, and threatened to set fire to himself and his mother 'together'. Luckily, a caregiver intervened in time and reported him to the police. The court sentenced him to 7 months in prison for public endangerment and threatening safety, with the option to appeal.
