South Korean president vows to expand aid contribution, mineral ties with Africa

Yoon also called for African countries to support international pressure against North Korea amid escalating tensions, with discussions at the summit focusing on trade and investment. South Korea aims to boost its aid contributions to Africa to $10 billion by 2030 and provide $14 billion in export financing to promote Korean investment in the region, particularly in critical minerals and digital transformation.
