U.S. stocks saw an upswing on Friday following the release of the last monthly jobs report of the year, which indicated stronger-than-expected job growth and increased the likelihood of a Federal Reserve interest rate cut later this month. The Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.8%, while the S&P 500 gained approximately 0.3%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased slightly by 0.3%. The report revealed that 227,000 jobs were added in November, slightly exceeding expectations, although the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%. Markets are now pricing in a nearly 90% chance of a rate cut during the Fed's upcoming meeting.
