The FreightWaves Supply Chain Pricing Power Index for shippers remains at 35 as volumes stay high post-Memorial Day, with container import volumes boosting the truckload market. The Outbound Tender Volume Index has grown over the past month, reaching levels more than 10% higher than last year due to higher volumes and inventory contraction. Despite some markets experiencing volume declines, major markets like Southern California and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania saw growth. With rejection rates increasing, the market is balancing, and spot rates remain near their highest levels of the year.
