Weather analyst Wu Sheng-yu from WeatherRisk mentioned that Taiwan is still under the influence of the stationary front over the northern seas and may experience unstable conditions due to daytime heating, leading to significant rainfall in mountainous areas and the northern and eastern regions of Taiwan in the afternoon. Starting tomorrow, as the Pacific high pressure extends westward, Taiwan will transition to a more summer-like weather pattern. There will be chances of short-lived showers or thunderstorms in various areas, with temperatures reaching 32-35 degrees or higher. This pattern is expected to continue until the weekend when temperatures could rise even further, requiring precautions against heatstroke and sun protection during outdoor activities.
