Taipei City to Impose Heavier Penalties on Claw Machine Stores Disturbing Residents Late at Night

Reported 11 months ago

According to CTWANT Weekly from China Times, residential areas in Taipei City have been disturbed by noise from claw machine stores at night. After verification by Taipei City's Environmental Protection Bureau, offenders could face fines of over 6,000 Taiwan Dollars but not exceeding 30,000 Taiwan Dollars, with additional penalties potentially per offense. The increase in complaints led to the enforcement of stricter regulations and double fines for violations of the Noise Control Act during night hours, aiming to curb the disturbances caused by loud music and crowd gatherings emanating from these stores.
