Recently, netizens shared screenshots of suspicious SMS messages received from Taiwan Power Company, containing unclear links for overdue electricity bill payment threatening disconnection. After verification by Fact Check Center with Taiwan Power, it was confirmed as a scam message. Taiwan Power warns the public not to click on such links, as they are likely phishing attempts for personal or credit card information. The public is reminded to stay vigilant and not trust such messages.
