FTNN News Network reported that the Taiwan stock index has recently hit new highs, with the Taiwan Stock Exchange holding a shareholders' meeting on June 14 where it approved the distribution of a dividend of 4.6 NT dollars, with 3.1 NT dollars in cash dividend and 1.5 NT dollars in stock dividend. The TWSE Chairman Lin Hsiu-Ming mentioned that they will continue to strengthen the capital market and enhance market value in light of the TWSE reaching a record high in market capitalization and trading volume in the previous year.
