A man surnamed Lin in New Taipei City fell to his death from a high-rise building while trying to escape arrest for involvement in distributing private videos, which led to the discovery of underage private videos. The police operation targeted the 'Creative Private Room' and 'Scumbag Channel' cases, where the suspect falsely claimed to go to the bathroom but attempted to escape through a window and tragically died. The suspects were involved in spreading unauthorized sexual videos, and one suspect, Lin, a 24-year-old engineer, lived in a luxury apartment with his father in Banqiao. The 'Scumbag Channel' was set up by an individual named Xu, who profited tens of millions by illegally distributing private videos. Lin fell from the 19th floor during the arrest operation and succumbed to his injuries despite emergency medical attention. The private videos ordeal stemmed from a fallout between Xu and the founder of the Creative Private Room forum over profit sharing. Xu initially claimed to root out the 'mole' but was engaging in illicit activities himself, profiting from the unauthorized videos.
