A man in Taiwan uploaded a short video showing a gun placed conspicuously at a YouBike station, jokingly claiming 'Turns out you can easily find guns lying around in Taichung, not just a myth.' The post caused concern among the authorities, leading to the man taking down the video and apologizing. However, he will still be penalized for violating public order laws. The police summoned him to explain the situation, where he clarified that the gun he filmed was a toy gun found on the ground in a park and that the video was made for entertainment purposes. Despite the unclear origin of the gun, the uploaded video caused panic among the public, disrupting social order, hence the man will be prosecuted for violating public order laws.
