Taiwanese Politician Cheng Wen-tsang Involved in Another Three Cases, Ling Tao: Total Benefits Exceed Billions

Reported about 1 year ago

During a press conference unveiling the 'turning soil into gold' case involving Cheng Wen-tsang, former mayor of Taoyuan City and former chairman of the Mainland Affairs Council, Kuomintang city councilor Ling Tao stated that the total benefits involved in three other cases amount to billions and called for President Lai Ching-te, former President Tsai Ing-wen, and Cheng Wen-tsang to clarify the situation. Apart from the Hua Ya agricultural land case, other mentioned cases include the Xiaogui Creek self-reclaimed land project, the Zhongxiao section in Cao Lao, Guanyin District, and the Bade Transit Station land. Ling Tao raised questions about the benefits accumulated in these cases and criticized the lack of action in the investigations during Tsai Ing-wen's administration.
