Tesla's CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla is expected to spend between $3 billion and $4 billion on Nvidia hardware this year, as part of its $10 billion artificial intelligence-related capital expenditure. Musk mentioned that about two-thirds of the cost for building AI training superclusters is attributable to Nvidia hardware. This decision comes as Tesla prioritizes AI processors for its ventures X and xAI. The company's capital expenditure forecast remains at over $10 billion for 2024, with expected spending of $8-$10 billion in the following years.
