In December 2022, 'Guan Zhang' Chen Zhihan joined forces with former legislator Huang Guochang to livestream and criticized the DPP's black governance, prompting candidate for legislator from the Taiwan Statebuilding Party, Dr. Wu Xindai, to sass Guan Zhang with a comment about Genghis Khan and the mafia. Guan Zhang sued Wu Xindai for defamation and requested 100,000 NT dollars compensation, but the High Court upheld the lower court's decision, ruling against Guan Zhang. The court held that although Wu Xindai could not prove her statement true, Guan Zhang's own statements in interviews suggested affiliations with criminal organizations, including admitting to a '10-year history in the dark underworld' and stating that Genghis Khan's director was formerly in the underworld. Wu Xindai's remarks were deemed proper opinions and did not infringe on Guan Zhang's reputation, leading to his defeat in court once again, with potential for appeal.
