Due to heavy rain causing multiple rockslides, including huge boulders blocking the road, the Chongde section of the Suhua Highway in Taiwan was closed for over 40 hours. After risky repair efforts, the road was reopened at around 2 pm yesterday. However, due to weather conditions and post-disaster reconstruction, the highway will implement phased traffic control from July 4 to 10, with vehicles allowed passage in three shifts: 6-8 am, 12-1 pm, and 5-7 pm. After July 10, further control measures will be announced.
