On the evening of June 25, 2024, a man in his 30s fell from a high floor of a building on Zhongshan Road Section 2 in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, hitting a woman in her 20s below. The man suffered critical injuries and lost vital signs on the spot, while the woman sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene and transported the man to Shuanghe Hospital for emergency treatment, where he remains in critical condition.
