Yesterday afternoon in Changhua City, Changhua County, an 83-year-old man surnamed Zhuang was found drowned in a pool at Changhua North National Sports Center for unknown reasons. Firefighters from the Eastern District were dispatched to rescue him upon receiving the report. Zhuang was already without breath or heartbeat when rescued. CPR and AED were immediately administered and he was rushed to Changhua General Hospital for emergency treatment. The hospital has been actively treating Zhuang, who was in critical condition and unfortunately passed away at 9:01 PM yesterday. Further investigation into the drowning incident and Zhuang's identity is ongoing.

Recently, a person surnamed Chan received a scam text message from a fraud group impersonating 'Taiwan Water Corporation' demanding immediate payment of overdue water bills with a threat of water supply termination, leading to a loss of NT $60,000 due to credit card information leakage. The Criminal Investigation Bureau warned citizens to recognize '111' as the official SMS source. Similar fraudulent SMS tactics have been used by scammers impersonating Taiwan Power Company. Both Taiwan Water and Taiwan Power have implemented a '111 code SMS' policy, urging people to verify the source of official SMS messages.
