According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Finance, Guansinli in East District, Hsinchu City, had an average annual income of 4.611 million in 2022, becoming Taiwan's richest neighborhood for five consecutive years. This record even marks the first instance in Taiwan's income statistics history where the average income has crossed 4.6 million. The rapid development of the high-tech industry in the Hsinchu area, leading to continuous rise in income for related talents, is cited as the main reason for Guansinli's continued dominance. Besides Guansinli, Datongli in Hsinchu City ranked second nationally, with an average annual income of 3.887 million in 2022, and Zhongxingli in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, placed third with 3.475 million.
