In the early hours of June 23rd, a fire broke out at a 3-story electronics store in Shengang Township, Changhua County, with 5 people trapped inside. Following firefighters' advice over the phone to seal the door crack, close the door, and wait for rescue, the 5 individuals gathered on the 2nd floor and were all successfully rescued without major injuries. The firefighters quickly suppressed the fire on the 1st floor, while a rescue team located the trapped individuals and escorted them to safety. All individuals were conscious but experienced minor symptoms of smoke inhalation and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
