A factory in Anye Street, Xindian District, New Taipei City caught fire around 5 p.m. on June 11, 2024, with smoke billowing out even after it was controlled by around 6 p.m. The New Taipei City Government advised nearby residents to keep windows closed and wear masks when going outside. The fire, which saw thick smoke rising, prompted a large emergency response, with 56 fire vehicles and 137 firefighters dispatched.
