According to the Central Weather Bureau, several regions will experience extreme heat tomorrow, with New Taipei City and Pingtung County at a red alert for temperatures potentially reaching 38 degrees Celsius. Other areas including Tainan and multiple central and southern counties are under orange alerts for temperatures above 36 degrees. Until the 20th, the weather will remain hot with possible local thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially in the west and mountainous areas. From the 21st onward, slightly cooler temperatures are expected due to an approaching low-pressure area, with intermittent rains likely in the southern and eastern regions.
