As the storm of the Parliament Powers Act continues to expand, the Executive Yuan reconsidered the bill and submitted it to President Lai Ching-te for approval, sparking discussions of a potential cabinet reshuffle. The Blue camp criticized the Executive Yuan for reconsidering all items that even the ruling Democratic Progressive Party supports, essentially negating all bills passed by the legislature and expanding executive power. Opposition parties see this as a threat to democracy while the ruling party defends it. If a cabinet reshuffle occurs, it could lead to a re-election in parliament, giving the Green camp a chance to regain the majority. In response to recall efforts against their members, the Blue camp plans to hold large-scale activities in various cities as a countermeasure.
