Huawei Technologies is set to begin mass shipments of its new 910C artificial intelligence chip to Chinese customers as early as next month, with some shipments already made. This development comes at a crucial time for Chinese AI firms seeking alternatives to Nvidia's H20 chip, which will now require an export license due to recent U.S. regulations. The 910C is designed to offer performance similar to Nvidia's H100 by integrating two 910B processors and features enhanced capabilities for AI workloads.
