A black Shiba Inu named 'Dou Dou' escaped while on the way to a neutering appointment in Taichung, Taiwan. A woman found the dog in a public square and, unable to locate the owner, sought help from the police. The dog was brought to the police station and immediately ran to embrace a female officer upon arrival. After some playful interactions, it was discovered that 'Dou Dou' was the pet reported missing earlier that day, leading to a heartwarming reunion with its relieved owner who had been worried after the dog went missing without a microchip. Authorities advised pet owners to implant microchips and register their pets to facilitate easier reunions in case of loss.
