Following the passing of the 'Five Laws on National Assembly Reform,' the Executive Yuan has requested a reconsideration. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) announced a nationwide explanatory campaign starting on the 14th, while the Kuomintang (KMT) is set to hold National Assembly reform briefing sessions in all 22 counties and cities starting on the 15th, choosing Tainan City as the first venue. Former legislator Guo Zhengliang emphasized the potential endless cycle of struggles between the blue and green camps, warning President Lai Ching-te to be cautious as it could result in four years of political limbo. Guo pointed out the possibility of repeatedly amending and resubmitting bills, leading to ongoing conflicts between the legislative and judicial branches, ultimately affecting the government's efficacy.
