Stewart-Haas Racing, a successful NASCAR team with 69 Cup Series victories since its formation in 2009, will be closing its doors at the end of the 2024 season. Co-owners Tony Stewart and Gene Haas announced the decision after rumors of selling the team's charters had circulated for nearly a year. The team fields Cup cars for drivers such as Josh Berry, Chase Briscoe, Noah Gragson, and Ryan Preece, and their closure will also affect the SHR Xfinity Series team. The move comes amidst challenges such as losing sponsorships and support from Ford, with future plans for the team's charters and drivers remaining uncertain.
