On July 4, 2024, around 3:00 am, a woman fell from a balcony on the 3rd floor to a terrace on the 2nd floor of a building on Yule Street in North District, Taichung City. Police and firefighters quickly responded, rescuing the woman with a ladder. She suffered severe head injuries, lost consciousness and heartbeat, and is currently being rushed to China Medical University Hospital for emergency treatment.
