Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Taoyuan City have jointly implemented the YouBike violation point system today, accumulating 3 points will result in a 14-day suspension, and 7 points will lead to a year-long suspension where the YouBike cannot be used nationwide. Surveillance cameras captured the process of a man driving a Mercedes Benz crashing into the Presidential Office in Taipei on July 1, 2024 at 5:46 am.
