On the early morning of June 10, at around 1 a.m., a driver passing through Pingtung's Liling Bridge for unknown reasons crashed into a bridge pier, causing both the driver and the car to fall off the bridge, resulting in immediate respiratory and cardiac arrest. The white SUV that fell off the bridge was severely damaged, with the front, body, and windshield shattered, and the airbag deployed. A landslide occurred in the slope of Beining Road at the entrance of Chaojing Park, 70 kilometers along Provincial Highway 2 in Keelung on June 9, 2024, blocking traffic in both directions.
