A truck accident occurred in Wenfeng Village, Chuqi Township, Chiayi County on the morning of June 8, 2024, where a small truck inexplicably overturned into a valley towards a large pit. The fire department dispatched a large number of personnel to the scene and found the truck overturned on a 100-meter deep slope. The male driver (around 41 years old) was conscious but in pain, and was rescued and sent to St. Martin Hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
