A man surnamed Chen from the Bamboo Union gang was arrested for allegedly leading a fraud ring, including former boxing national athlete Chung Chun-an, who won fifth place in the 57 kg weight class at the 2006 Doha Asian Games. New Taipei police arrested Chen and four others, seized four million NT dollars in illicit money and 200 packets of drug-laced coffee, and transferred them for charges including organized crime, aggravated fraud, and drugs.
