A 26-year-old man fired nearly 20 shots at the gate of a hotel in the Zhongxing Road section of Xindian District, New Taipei City this morning, with bullet casings scattered all over the ground but thankfully no injuries reported. The shooter then voluntarily surrendered to the police after the incident. The police found 16 bullet casings and one unfired bullet at the scene, and are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting.
